Roller Hockey is a popular sport in Portugal and there are many teams playing at local and international level. Most recently the Portuguese national Roller Hockey team won the League of Nations Cup in 2019.
The Lisport Hockey team was founded in Melbourne  and currently plays in the state and national league.

Several of the players have represented Australia on the international stage.
