Committee for the Aging

In a meeting on the 13/06/2007 the following Committee was formed:

Vice Secretary	Maria do Céu Carneiro
Treasurer	Maria Jose Pereira
Vice Treasurer	Eusébio Machado
Coordinator	Odete Marques

The Committee reaffirmed its goals as follow:

- promote the wellbeing of the Elderly specifically in the areas of health, recreation and entitlements

- concentrate efforts to create retirement village for Portuguese Elderly.

Coordinator Odete Marques said that the number of people attending our Club premises has grown gradually and the enthusiasm is evident. This group already has various projects of social and cultural activities, and meets every Wednesday at the APV from 11 am until 3 pm.
